Second year students are in internships / practicum

Sir,please reply. My percentage in B.tech is 58% . Will i be eligible for placements after completion of msit program? companies ask for 60% min..if i do msit will my less % in b.tech will be a hurdle to get a job in placements? or only msit % is considered?
