First years are in Data bases course. Second year students are in third mini semester finishing up specialization courses, one month to go for practicum.

Dussera Vacation

Dussera vacation as per calender is between 2nd Oct 2011 and 8th Oct 2011.

Due to agitations in JNTU University: MSIT at JNTU is following dussera vacation as layed out by state government, i.e till 28th Sep 2011. Possibly 1-2 days holidays during navami and dasami.

Whats happening today

1. Second year students are in the second mini semester currently taking Specialization courses (3rd week).
2. First year students completed Object oriented programming using C++, they are right now in Object oriented programming using Java.

Whats happening today

For Second years: Software Engineering Foundations course ends.

First years: Completed preparatory course and just joined Object oriented programming course, using C++.

Specializations are about to start next week.

Whats happening today

Preparatory course is going on for first years, currently in Week 6.

Software Engineering Foundations course is on for second years, currently in Week 4.

After a week or two, most likely we will know status of specializations and number of students joining after preparatory course.

Academic year is coming to an end with this week. All second year project demos are scheduled this week. First year practicum ends this Saturday. Demos at JNTU (Friday) and IIIT (Saturday) this week
